Spencer County Habitat for Humanity

Building Strength and Stability in Spencer County Since 1996

What began as a grassroots movement by community-minded neighbors in 1996 has grown into a lasting legacy of hope. Officially affiliated in 1997, Spencer County Habitat for Humanity built its very first home in Chrisney and hasn’t stopped since. To date, we have partnered with 29 families across six local communities to provide the foundation of affordable homeownership. Today, our mission continues as we actively build new futures in Hatfield and Newtonville.

Our Mission

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
